Life is just steadily moving along. Very shortly we will have been married five months. Not sure where that time has went. Last week Carlin was working with a friend in Picayune because he was out of work here. I made supper for both of them several times last week. Well I should get ready for church. Well time flies. It's hard to believe we have been married for four months already. It's been four wonderful months of being with the love of my life.
Yesterday I canned peaches with his sister and now I have all that mess to clean up. Tonight Carlin is taking me up to my sister's place where I will be meeting the rest and we will head to Tennessee in the morning. Two of my sisters and I are taking our sister-in-law to meet two more of our sisters. They will take her to PA to have her twins. We got a cabin for one night and have plans to go a couple places. It will be the first and probably the last something like this ever happens so it's kind of exciting. I don't like the idea of being away from my husband for a couple days but maybe it will be good for us. Guess i should get my cleaning up and packing done. I need to pack for myself and then for the weekend to. I think he is coming home a little early so he can help with whatever I haven't got done. What a Sweetheart. They came Monday to fix the air conditioner but it started lightening so they had to quit. They are finally back today and I hope they fix it this time. It has been very hot in this house. Well yesterday I scared my poor husband crazy. I had plugged my phone in out in the kitchen and went and laid down in the bedroom. Recently if I lay down I fall asleep and not much can wake me up! Two of my sisters tried to call me and of course I didn't answer. The one finally called Carlin! He tried to but I was still sleeping. Finally he got worried enough that he came flying home!!! A normal twenty minute drive took ten minutes!! He walked into the bedroom and there I was sleeping tight. Now I am to keep my phone close by at all times. My husband just called and we have a repair to do in Baton Rouge so I guess it's good I didn't have to much planned for today. The air conditioner is fixed!!! Aw sweet cold air. The south is definitely not were you want to live without a/c. Now I can get my dishes done and the house cleaned up. Have a swell day ya'll.
